Junichi Arakawa has been photographing for 20 years, he grew up around cameras, learning from his father who worked with Pentax for many years. He concentrates on incorporating “Zen” into his photographs, connecting the Photographer, Camera and the subject to create a final image.
He also tries to practice the Zen saying by Shunryu Suzuki “Shoshin – Beginners Mind – In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, in the expert’s mind there are few.”
